    Default remove owner information screen

How do you remove the owner information screen and make it go directly to my today page when I turn it on?

Also, my ear opens up the time/date window everytime I talk and it is driving me crazy. Can you lock it out or something?

    Both are easily remedied.

    Go to START>SETTINGS.

Click on Owner Info and go to the Options tab. Uncheck the box to display your info when the device is turned on.

To fix the other, from the SETTINGS group, click on Keyguard. Check the box for disabling the touch screen "While on a call in the Today Screen".

Note that if you navigate away from the Today Screen using the keyboard, you get the touch screen back. This is so if you're on speaker or using a headset, you can still get to apps and use the touch screen with them. Also, don't stick it in your pocket and think your safe because as soon as the call ends, the touch screen is active again.

On a side note, you can enable the keyguard to lock both the touch screen and keys at ANY time (on a call or not) by pressing Option + End. I typically enable the keyguard anytime I put it in my pocket so you don't have to wait for it to go to sleep first.
