scan disk purpose

Hi,
probably a stupid question but i'm too lazy to read and find out. What is the scan disk slot for? How do I save stuff to it like word and excel documents?

Scan Disk slot? a "mini" sd memory card goes in the SD slot. The card is used to store data and in many instances, you can install applications to the card in order to save internal memory. Saving to it is normally a function of the application you are using and of course you can use ActiveSunk.
