    Default Screen Replacement - Failed

I recently replaced my screen in my 750. I followed the take apart directions from pdaparts.com per their video. As I reversed the process to put the phone back together, I noticed that the phone worked, the buttons worked, but the screen would not come on at all.

Has this happened to anyone? If so, what did you do to fix it?

Also, how far in do you have to place the screen ribbon into the connector before you push the connector lid down?

The small ribbon on the back side of the 750 I noticed had to be all the way in before it would clamp down.

well its possible that you did not get it totally seated and thats why its not orking. Its also possible that the connector cble is messed up to the point its not working you need to pull it apart and reseat the connector and see if it works after that. If not you need a new connector cable check pdaparts.com or performancepda.com for possible parts availability.

I had the same problem with mine when I changed my screen. I had to plug the screen in three times before I got it to work right. the connector must have to be seated perfect.
