Default "Send immediately" without Exchange?

Top of the day!

I just got my new Treo 750 and had a couple of questions pertaining to email.

I'm using the standard email client that comes as part of Windows Mobile 5.0, and it is set up to check an IMAP account. I have no Exchange server connectivity whatsoever and do not use ActiveSync for any email purposes. I have t set to check for new mail every 15 minutes.

Q1: Is there a way to tell it to send emails immediately instead of waiting for the next send/receive or having to manually send/receive?

Q2: Is there a way to specify that it should only check for mail during specific hours of the day?

A final non-email question: My Treo 750 is unlocked. It's Cingular-branded but I'm using it on T-Mobile. Once WM6 comes out for the Treo (when is that? Any news on that?) will it remain unlocked after upgrading?

Thanks very much!

I should have made it clearer in my question. What I meant was: Is there a way to specify, possibly via checking some box, that emails should be sent immediately instead of waiting for the next sync? I know I can manually initiate a send and receive after each message, but that becomes a waste of time.

Thanks!
