    i'm running wm6.0 - is there a way to end progams without going into the system memory to end them? it's driving me crazy and palm tech support has no clue what the answer is.

    Hold down the "OK" button. Select "Stop all"
    Or get a program like SPB Pocket Plus and you can "X" them when you are done with each just like on a PC.

    supposedly either 6.1 or 7 will have the x closes not minimizes the program and all this nonsense will stop and it will act like the desktop X

    i've heard that 6.1 is out there, is it? has anyone upgraded and been able to confirm this?

    you can download an update to office mobile 6.1 but wm 6.1 is not released yet there have been reports on office 6.1 with screenshots I think on treo central or somewhere.
