System Tools or Repair Spectec Installation Problem

Hi,

I recently bought a Spectec SDW-822 mini SD WLAN-11b, and when trying to install the driver/software to my Treo 750 thru the Active Sync I pressed YES to install the software on my Treo, but the progress bar of the installation got "stuck" on the last bar and the installation never finishes, I waited for about 45 min, then I wanted to cancel the operation but nothing happened. So I try removing the battery and the putting it back on, but after turning on the treo, the same installation of the CAB file starts and gets "stuck" or stops at the last bar of the progress bar.

I need help please. What can I do to cancel the installation operation? I don't want to do a Complete Reset, I have a lot of data inside, and ActiveSync is not working, I beleive because of the same issue.

I appreciate all the help you can give me.

THANKS

You may need to clean out the bad installation that has started and reinstall the oprogram again. Is the program installing directly on the treo or to the computer and then synching? If the latter are you hooked up to a power source or just the synch plug? You need to be on ac power and if you're not that's probably the problem.

Hi,

I can't enter to the Add/Remove Programs, I believe because the other installation is not finished because it's stuck. What I would like to do is to cancel the installation that is happening on the PDA without doing a Hard Reset, Soft Reset did't work.

Thanks for all your help.

Smile Spected Installation Problem

Hi I Had The Same Problem Yesterday And I Was Looking For Help. Do You Have Any Responses About How To Fix It?
Somebody Told Me That Maybe I Have To Do A Hard Reset But I Do Not Want To Because I Will Lose Programs Like Excel, Power Point And Word.
If You Get Answers Please Let Me Know.
Thanks

Thanks you very much, my last question is..did you lose the Office mobile programs (excel, word, power point) by doing the hard reset?

If so, where can I download the office mobile

I really appreciate all your patience and help.

The treo went back to exactly the same as when I bought it, everything else was erased. Sorry I don't remember about the office soft, but if these came with your treo, it's most likely that they will stay. But just to be sure, you should contact Palm, they will respond you fast.

Thanks
