    Question Spectec Wifi Card Issues

I have purchased a Spectec wifi card for the Treo 750. I have installed the drivers on the device and I can connect to my router easily, however I don't have internet access on my device. Internet explorer searches for a while then gives me an error message.

I've tried a few different drivers and it seems that I am using the correct one as other drivers act erratically if not at all.
Do I need to set up a new connection anywhere even if I'm already connected? I'm using a D-link DSL-G604T at home & office. I am running the latest drivers in the D-Link.
    Please help.......

Maybe your router has MAC-filtering? Does it have dhcp enabled?

I have this card and it's working good...

Have you tried with other programs then IE? And one more thing - do you soft reset Treo after inserting card? If card is recognized and connected you should see antenna sybol (details after tapping) in top bar.

Thanks for your response, I just figured it out. I had to edit the registry. It worked immediately once I made the changes. It's quite a fast connection.
I've noticed a lot of people are needing to soft reset after inserting the card. I've found if I wait for about a minute it picks everything up on its own.
    Cheers

And you don't have to reset? I'll check it out later...
Hmmm, I think that reset isn't taking more tan minute ;)

Lately the card hasn't been activating on its own. I remove it and insert it again and it picks up the wireless without a soft reset.

And one more thing: you cannot turn Treo of by pressing power key. After that you'll need to sof reset or re-insert the card to get it working.
