Speed Dial Buttons

I am having trouble with my speed dial buttons. I have set up speed dial. It works from the touchscreen but will not work from the buttons on the keypad.

another problem that i have. I recently dropped my internet service on this phone. I keep getting notification that connection cannot be made. This is somewhat aggravating during the night. How can I stop this notification? Putting the phone on silent cannot happen. I am on call.

For speed dial you have to hold the appropriate button down for a second. If you're doing everything right, and it's still not working, then a hard reset would probably fix the issue.

As for internet, it sounds like you have something still trying to hit the net. Make sure you delete all of your email accounts. Also anything else you may have previously used that could make a net connection. If all else fails, try a hard reset to throroughly clear old programs out.

You could also go into Sounds&Notifications and uncheck the box for system sounds and events. At least then it would be quiet.
