Strange mic and speaker problem!
Hello people! I hope you can help to solve this problem out... because although I tried to search everywhere, i couldn't get the nail.
The thing is that my Palm Treo 750v sounds perfectly when somebody call me, but if I want to be listened or to hear the other person or to play music with the speaker, I CAN'T! except with my headphones!
I think that could be a Sw problem because, as I told you before, I the phone rings everytime somebody call me.
Can you PLEASE help me? Thank you very much!
Some data:
WM V5.0
Sw version: TREO750-1.16-VFU
Hw version: A
Fw version: 1.12.0c.00
and I've already installed the KB43546-AKU2.6.3 R1 audio fix!

Maybe your headphonbe jack is unsoldered. Its been a long standing issue the headphone jack thinks its still got the headphones plugged in . You put them in and out sveral times quickly and it may go away or it may need to be resoldered.

Dude, you're running WM5. There's a bug that causes the sound driver to overload. Palm released a patch on their website. It was also fixed in WM6.
Personally, I recommend upgrading. You'll get full 3G speeds, talking while surfing, Internet Connection sharing (tethering) etc...

Oh yeah, since it's a 750V (not a regular 750) you may need to load the Vodafone release of WM6.
