Default time changing when USB connected

I can't seem to figure out why my Treo750 time changes 1hr back when USB connected to my PC. My PC and Treo time is set correctly set.

As I use Active Sync 4.5 and Outlook, my mtgs on my Treo all are off by one hour earlier... I suspect my mtg time prob is driven by the time changing.

I have tried updating my PC, I have updated Outlook and I have updated the Treo per MS website.

Any ideas to what I can do?

make sure both computer and phone think they are in the same time zone. (Location) That might be it.

You have to follow the directions exactly and apparently some computers still dont get updated properly and the patch may cause further difficulties as well. There have been several reports on various ezines like eweek and others . I experienced difficulties at first but I thinks its calmed down now Did you change the time zone or your 750 and then change it back from like central to eastermn and then back to central daylight. Also if you are getting outlook off an exchange server and not all workstations updated properly its going to throw any appointments from that station off for everybody on the network

I made the changes to my PC, Outlook and phone... paid close attention to the detail.

Does anyone have the exact details to how to make all the necessary changes. I will work from a list that has worked previously.

I have changed the time zones back and forth. I have also removed and reinstalled Active Sync 4.5.

I am not using Exchange... just Outlook with pop email.

This is killing my productivity.

Any other help is appreciated.

install the update and followed the instructions on the microsoft site or tried to . One of the updates from microsoft when I tried to install it would not install as it said a newer update had been installed already. I think that was the windows xp update. After I installed the windows mobile update I went in and changed the time setings on the clock after unchewcking the get network time boxes then switched the time to another time zone okayed the switch of appointments times to the new time zone and then switched back to central time had to change the hour on the pda clock the time on the desktop and the appointment times a couple of times in both outlook and the 750 but after a couple of synchs changed the times all up on the pda and appointments it finally started working okay. Hopefully it will stall okay when the old DST switch time rolls around.

update was not working so last night went in and printed all the instructions followed them through and got the dst working right. I believe my prob was had not installed 4.5 upgrade for AS ( have a fear of AS and upgrades from previous experience with pocket pc's ). Installed 4.5 okay had to get rid of one of setups for windows pc was showing connecting to two computers) but that resolved itself without complication like AS 4.5 so far.
