Time Lag in Answering Call
Hi all, when I answer call by pressing "answer call" buttom, I find a time lag in-between, about 2 to 3 seconds in silent ! Is it normal for Treo 750?
-
sometimes there is a short lag sometimes not with me. Dont think its more than 1-2 seconds at most
-
I have the same problem with lag time when answering a call. Another guy in my company who got an identical phone at the same time does NOT have the problem.
I wonder if Palm product developers read this web site to learn about these snafus?

There is a guy kevin michaels who works for palm who looks in the ET forums at times but I dont think he's a product developer but he may pass pn the gripes and info.

I've noticed the same problem, one other thing when my phone rings and I press the answer key it ends up not answering the phone and it shows I have a missed call....and it only rings once. Anyone have the same problem?

I have had similar experiences with other cell phones on cingular and also with the landline going to answering machine.

There are several reasons why you are experiencing this. Here are some of the reasons:
1. Set the Call Forwarding to Voicemail option to greater than 15 seconds.
2. Avoid using both SIM contacts. Ciontacts in the SIM Card should be transferred to the phone's contacts.
3. If possible avoid using WMA or MP3 ring tones especially large audio files
Hope this helps

Thanks for your suggestions, but it is hard to set the voicemail option to 15 seconds, people have no patient to wait for so long. I dun have SIM contact so far, and I am not using MP3 as my ringtone.
I do think that it is phone bug!
