Does anyone know how to reprogram the number one key in the dial pad to properly dial the voice-mail retrieval number?

My wife's phone number is somehow assigned to this key and if I am using the dial pad to "select one for English" is dials the wrong number and creates phone havoc.

Any thoughts or ideas? Oh, I tried redoing the speed dial numbers and this did not work.
