TREO 750 Initial Password is...?

I have a Cingular 750 and am trying to set the "Lock" code (i.e. Start > Settings > System > Lock)

I just bought this device and it is asking me for my password in order to set a lock code. Anybody know what the factory-set password is?

I already tried a hard reset and the password prompt is still present.

Um, if Cingular didnt know, I dont either. That is strictly info they should be able to tell the person who bought the phone. Try threatening to return the phone if they cant help you with it.

I think that you have to set your initial password to lock it because if you dont set the password you will not know waht pw to unlock. So input a password and nthen tell it to shut down and to get back in enter the chosen password It should be set up after that.
