Treo 750 Network issue?

Hi,

My Treo while on the EDGE network (with FULL Signal) drops calls all the time, IF it actually is able to connect in the first place. However, i've noticed while in a 3G (shows a big "U") on the phone, it will work flawlessly, even at 1 bar it has zero issues!

Does anyone have any ideas?

probably an issue with edge signal strength and 3g is more stable.

for the first 3 months the phone was great (i'm in an edge only area, still) without issues.

Sad part is, Palm wants $199 for repair (not in warranty), but i can get a new one on ebay even cheaper.

Do you know if there is any other troubleshooting i can do with the phone? I've seached all over the net, and can't seem to find anyone else with this issue.
