Treo 750 not recognizing mini sd card

I have had this phone about 9 months and all of a sudden the device does not recognize any sd card, even the ones I have been using all along. I finally did a hard reset and nothing.
Any suggestions?

I apologoze if this info is out there already but I have not been anle to find it.

Its possible the card is bad or its no longer seated properly. Is it a mini sd or a micro and your are using an adapter. If the latter sometimes the cardx gets out of kilter in the adapter have you tried pulling the card out and remounting it?

It is a Micro SD in a Mini adapter. I know the cards are good because my USB card reader reads them. The Mini adapters are a bit on the flimsy side. I will try a new one today and see what happens.

I have been trying to get Mini SD cards for two Treos. I found one lot on eBay and the guy was selling a lot and I brought two as he promised would be compatibile, also picture Mini SD but ended up with ones with adaptors. I can not find Mini SD anywhere. All the 1G Micro SD I have work in cameras and computers but in the Mini SD adaptor I hear a beep but memory is not available.

Any clues?

All memory is branded SanDisk.

I ended up having to replace the Mini to Micro SD adapter and the cards work fine now. I do not even look for Mini cards anymore since you can purchase a 4GB Micro w/ a Mini and full size adapters for $12 online.

Ok found the problem. I had them formatted as FAT not FAT32. I am sure I tried both before. Next to try and upgrade to WM6.1

Ok Worked for one card but not the other. Then put original back in that worked after format this morning and still get beep but not detecting. Remove reboot put back in many times and eventually got to recognise only one card. Reading other people seem to have this issue also and having to reboot to get memory back again as it dissapears. Both card detects in camera and computer fine each time.
