Try going to Start>Settings>System_tab>Screen and click "Align Screen". It may be that it's just wasn't mapped properly at initial setup.

If you have backed up recently, you may also try a Hard Reset, and reinitialize everything from scratch.

If neither of those work, then I'd start looking for a replacement.

If it's a refurb or has been worked on at some point, then it may be as simple as the screen connection not being fully seated in it's socket.

When you take it apart, make sure everything has a good solid connection.

I have the same problem I think.

My touchscreen responds only once after a hard reset which gets me to the align screen part of the set up but no further. Other than pulling it to pieces is a replacement my only option or is there a download that can help restore this functionality? yaca, did you get your touch screen working?
