Treo 750 Slower than Palm 650

Well I have not tried the 680 and in my experience with the 750 its faster than the 650 I used before the 750. I keep most of the programs closed after using them and not leave them hogging memory in the background. I prefer windows mobile and the 750 over the 650 and the 700 w wx with the only external antenna. I wish the batery was more powerful but I can live with that. I wish it had more internal memory but I can live with that too.

My experience with the 650/680 vs the 750 is the 750 is way more stable.
Had the 680 for about 30 days and the 650 for 2yrs. The 680 (2 of them) had a ton of resets (seemed like a 2x daily thing, no extra software).
The delay in getting calls is due to Voice Command (turn it off and you are good to go), have had 3 resets in the 6 months of having a 750, the system is not slow in my opinion.
Everybody has a different opinion and experience, but the WM Treos are really a good device that require way less hack and softwares vs POS...I suspect that when the HTC cavalier and Moto Q9 launch, the question will be rather Palm finally releases WM6 and HSDPA.

There is the Treo 680 if you don't want to depart from Palm OS, though it seems you're willing to switch to Windows Mobile. The one thing to check is whether the battery life of the 8525 is better than the 750, since that is a regular complaint about that Treo.

i had the 8525. its dead withing a day easy. i had the extra storage battery which makes it last more than 24 hours. i then just sold it on eBay. the treo seems to fair well with battery life.
