Treo accessories question

It appears that the sync cable and charger is the same between the Treo 650 and the 750. Can anyone confirm this?

Probably so. Even though they changed the OS, the hardware of the device didn't change much.

I've used other generic Treo data cables before. Heck, the one they send out still has the "hotsync" button on it, which does absolutely nothing with ActiveSync and WinMo.

Only thing I noticed was the generic cable I bought had a full set of pins, where the one they included did not. Both work, but the generic one takes a hair longer to recognize the device. *shrug*

Heck, I figgured I'd just use my old Treo 650 stuff... Power supply puts out the same volts and amps, so that should work for me. Most of what you'd get off ebay is marked for 650, 700, 750 etc.

You know what they say, a penny saved... is still just a penny.

(These days a penny will buy 0.0025 gallons of gas. Why do we still have pennies anyway?)

Yeah, I saw a show a while back and it turns out the penny costs more to make than it's actually worth..... Our tax dollars hard at work. Go figure
