sorry if this has been asked before, I did try a search and a browse through recent posts, but didn't find anything.

I'm trying to get my Treo 750 onto the internet through the bluetooth dongle in my PC. I'm not sure if it would use the bluetooth serial port or network access function, but have configured both to be on the safe side.

The devices are paired with each other, and I said yes to allow the Treo to use the PC's bluetooth serial port, in case it's relevant.

Network access is also permitted as far as I can tell - I've set it to 'allow other devices to access internet through this computer' , and configured internet connection sharing on the PC's LAN connection, to be shared with the bluetooth connection.

The only thing I don't seem to be able to do is set up a modem connection on the Treo, but I don't know if that is necessary, or if the bluetooth pairing should be sufficient. But when I run Internet Explorer on the Treo, it says "cannot connect with current connection settings".

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful :smile:
