Unable To Delete Txt Msgs

On my 750 I am unable to delete the txt msgs off the phone. When I select a txt chat and goto delete it the windows circle does nothing but spin. I can delete each txt one by one but that is lenghty and doesnt work either. If I delete a txt conversation one by one the next time that person sends me a msg the entire conversation comes back up. This is really annoying to have so many chat windows open when I only text a few people. Anyone have any ideas besides doing a restore on the phone?

I had the same problem with my phone. Every time I tried to delete messages the phone would just stop responding and freeze up. I did find, however that you can delete messages one by one, and then try deleting all of them and eventually they'll all delete. It's seems like the phone can only delete so much at a time. Start deleting messages more regularly though, because it may eventually cause messages to stop sending. ...I learned that the hard way.

Mine was doing the same thing but I started using the purge option under menu and it worked fine.
