Unable to use touchscreen - WM6
I'm having problems with the touch screen on my phone. If I do a soft boot of the phone I have possibly 15 mins of screen capability before I have to use the buttons. I would not be able to touch the screen with my stylus to access anything and my Treo starts to run extremely slow along with that. I've done a master reset of the phone but was thinking about replacing the operating system. Any thoughts?

what aboutclearing your browser cache it sounds like your memory is low either t broswer cache or too many programs running. check your programs in use andf close ones that are not immediately needed.

Yeah I always clear my cache. I do it every night and I'm constantly doing shift + ok to close programs that I don't need and I'm still having the same problem.

hmm... it still sounds suspiciously like a low memory problem.
If you go to Start>Settings>System>Memory (or hold down "ok" and choose the "Main" tab) how much free program memory does it show?
Also, did this problem just show up one day out of the blue? Did it follow any new apps being loaded or any config changes?

Yes it did appear one day out of the blue. I suspected possible hacking because I always clear my memory and free up all my programs. So I really don't know what it could be at this time. And I did what you said and that still doesn't work.

I have about 31.30 MB of space free on the device. What would be the next suggestion just in case this one doesn't work? LOL!

Not sure it does sound like a memory problem but might be a corrupted file or incomplete installation or some similar malady. Maybe get a trial version download of mem maid and see what it discovers.

Cool i'm going to try that and see what happens. If that doesn't work I'm going to erase the OS and reinstall. i'll hit you back and let you know what happens.
