Default URGENT: I hear nothing while phoning

    Hello

since yesterday I hear nothing if I am in a phone call. The other side can hear me and I can hear ringtones and mp3s but not the spoken word.

I already did a hard-reset but no difference.
I dont want to wait for WM6, I need the phone actually daily

I am exploring now my Palm CD-Rom but find no way to make a fresh WM6 installation

    thanks!

I was suffering from a similiar problem for quite some time, that has mysteriously seemed to corrected itself:gasp:

Not sure if it is your headphone jack..but the 650 has that problem if you have used a wired headset some contacts can get stuck in the treo. Some have installed volume care and an up grade that bypasses the jack.

You could also buy this program that bypasses the headphone to help correct the known problem with the 650: http://software.everythingtreo.com/product.asp?id=4662

    Good luck to you.

EDIT: oh, it looks like you have to have the Volume Care Basic program installed first for this headset bypass program to work. It installs itself into the Volume Care Basic program: http://software.everythingtreo.com/product.asp?id=808

    hi

I tried to install Volume Care Prof. but i dont know to install the .prc-file.
Maybe it does not work with Treo750 and WM5?

I did try the headphone jack "Bypass" feature with Volume Care Pro on my device, and it didn't help! That wasn't the mysterious, intermittent issue causing my handset speaker to fail. I'm just glad it's working again:wink:
