Ver. Activsync for WM6 Treo 750 & XP Pro

I need to know which version of Activsync should be used with MS XP Pro with All patches loaded and using Outlook with Office 2007.

I currently have Ver. 4.5 but seems to be having a problem, computer Syncs with 750 but 750 doesn't sync with computer i.e: when synced info on the 750, info on the 750 DOESN'T flow to Office Outlook on the Computer...BUT "Old" info on the Computer flows to the 750 and overwrites any new info entered on the 750.

I went back to ground zero and started again, reinstalled activesync 4.5, set everything up again, now everything appears to be working again.

I can only assume I altered something while messing where I shouldn’t have been, despite the frustration I mark it down as education…only cost was time and I learn't what not to do and how to fix it.:wink:

do you have OFFICE Mobile 6.12 update installed. It reads the 2007 format of office docs etc and might be causing at least part of the glitch. The first thing to try when you have AS problems is to do a soft reset on the device. Many times that will clear up the problem.

Yep, did soft resets etc didn't work.

Not sure if I have OM 6.12, Treo is only 3 months old, I can't find any reference other than WM 6.

Is there somewhere I can look to find if it has OM 6.12?

find your office mobile icon in programs tap it tap on one of the program icons it will open that program tap on the right soft key and tap on about and it will give you the program version information.

jfa, thanks for the reply ... however I went to Programs > Office Mobile > Word Mobile ... but the "Right Soft Key" mentioned in your reply is eluding me, I need a Pointer to it:gasp:.

right soft key is the words in lower right of the screen (tap on them) or the key above the red power/end buton.
