There's been announcements from a few vendors, but I haven't seen any available from what I would consider a reliable source. A lot of vendors are focusing on microSD, as there's a larger market. Even Palm's upcoming 500v uses microSD (and miniUSB, thanks Palm. :angry

Wow. Looks like you got in just in time. That link is now showing the card is not available.

All I know is that I received an email this morning (and another that followed confirming that the card is in the mail) that confirmed the purchase for $29.99 (before Google's $10 off if you use their checkout process). So, THANK YOU.

Part of the reason is that the card on New Egg is class 6, while the card on buy.com is only class 4. More info on classes and transfer rates here. The card on New Egg is still available as of the time this was posted.

Kreth.. thanks for the link explaining the different card classes. From that link, it looks like it's the rated speeds of data transfer the cards can handle.
I wonder what kind of noticeable difference would be between a Class 4 and a Class 6 SDHC card?

About 2MB/s...
Seriously, I have't had a chance to do a head to head comparison, but I remember hearing and reading about people complaining of "stuttering" with music and video when the class 2 miniSDHC cards first came out. I imagine the transfer rate differences would be very noticeable when doing large file transfers, also.
