Have you tried formatting it on a PC? That way you could rule out a problem with your Treo vs. a bad card.

I've got an adapter and card reader for my PC. If I put the card into it the PC doesn't recognize it or give me a prompt to format it. What do I do next?

If neither your PC or Treo is able to format it, I'd suspect a bad card. You should have no problem returning it for a replacement.

This may be a dumb question. I bought the 4gb mini SDHC card from NewEgg.com. It works just fine in my 755p but my HP dv6000 laptop doesn't recognize it, is that possible? And does it have something to do with the HC part?
Help
Thanks

Your 4 GB mini SD is "SDHC" (SD High Capacity). Only readers that are SDHC capable can read your card. Most older readers are not. My HP all-in-one would not read it either. I had to buy a cheap adapter from Newegg.

kingston -- soo sloooow
i bought a 4gb kingston card for my treo 755p and am trying to load music onto it. it's taking soooo long. i'm not familiar with using cards in my treo and am wondering if there is some formatting or something that i'm not doing right?
i don't want to have to purchase an SD reader. i just want to be able to connect my phone to my laptop w/ the USB, and then xfer songs through WMP11.
thanks!

For whatever reason, downloading songs from your computer to your phone is a lot slower than downloading straight to your card. That's why I bought a cheap adapter.

Viventis is correct. Any SDHC card (which is any SD-type card over 2gb) needs a reader capable of reading the card. Had to upgrade my USB reader to one that supports SDHC. newegg.com or cyberguys.com has a good selection of readers and adapters.

If you're having problems with SD(HC) formatting for compatibility issues you might try this handy utility by Panasonic: http://panasonic.jp/support/global/c...formatter.html

Just started using a Treo 755p from Verizon, and bought the Kingston 4gb sdm6. Have a reader, found it on my computer, formatted, but when in the phone my file manager doesn't see it. Any thoughts? Thanks.
