The card comes with an adapter, so it will work with an SD slot. It depends on whether the card slot in your laptop supports SDHC. You may be able to get by with a firmware update.

Have you try your miniSD on your laptop to read in slot?
My laptop doesn't have an integrated slot. I normally use pTunes/WMP to copy music, or the integrated card reader built into mRing to copy files.

I see... I will check with my laptop and hopefully, it will support SDHC... :foot:

I just purchased one of the Kinston 4G MiniSDCHC, Class 6. I tried formatting it. It displayed a message saying that it was formatting, but after 30 minutes (twice), I took the card out because it had locked up my treo. I called SprintPCS tech support, they said that the largest card that the 755P would accept was 2G. Any ideas that could help me out?

That card will work in the Treo 755p. Several of us out here have the 4gb SDHC card in our 755p.

What did you use to format the card... the Card Info program?

Worse case, you could always get a reader (make sure it reads SDHC cards) and format it as FAT32.

But Sprint was incorrect in that the card won't work.

The Sprint rep was incorrect (as they often are). Here's a link from Palm's site showing that 4GB cards are officially supported. Try chillywilly's suggestion.

I ordered and didn't format it from my laptop, and put in 755p and it works... Probably, because you format other than Fat32??

Hi, I just found this forum and I think I'm probably gonna need some help. I'm a first time user of Treo(or any smartphone for that matter) and I just got a 755p. And I was trying to look up some info on data cards and I found this thread.

    I found this...

    http://www.memorysuppliers.com/sa4gbmisedic.html

And wanted to see what you guys thought of this. I don't know much about speeds and what not or really even how or if I need to format . So, It's been kind of rough so far hopefully I figure this stuff out .

Thanks for any feedback orhelp I get.

    That's a little expensive. Try here - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...Tpk=20-134-518

Lot cheaper and it's a Class 6 card where the one you're looking at is only a Class 2 (higher the number the faster the speed).

Thanks for the quick reply. I saw that link earlier and I have that book marked. But I was looking for something a little sooner and since someone in one of the reviews said Kingston has stated that that specific model has been halted it might not be in stock(?).

I also noticed it was class 2 but I guess it didn't really register, ha. Guess I'll have to keep looking
