Default 755p 3 way calling

I had the 650..and upgraded to the 755p. Upon recieving my first call waiting call and answering the other line, i realized there is no function to swap between active callsa nd you can not hang up on just one line (only option is "hang up all")

My question is this... Does everyone have this problem, and if so what can we or I do to get back my old options such as on the 650?
Thanks in advance for any help or insight!

Pull out the battery and try it again.. that should fix the problem. For some reason my 755 is still buggy with certain things...

About a year ago I switched from the 600 to the 700p and got the same thing. The "new" menus are far inferior to the old in terms of 3 way & conferencing.
I posted the same type of post and got no reply. I talked to palm numerous times and some CSRs said "The update should take care of it"
Not only has palm not released a firmware update for the 700p, it is SO sad to see the new 755p has the same problems.

WE NEED A PROGRAMMER TO UPDATE THESE SHORTCOMINGS!!
(
* no way to hang up on one call
* no way to switch between calls
* no way to make outgoing 2nd call after u receive and decline 2nd call.
many more...
)

Default Agreed

Agreed. And I can't tell you how often I hang up on people while trying to touch the onscreen Speaker Phone button that resides next to the Hang Up All button.

I can't stand the built-in contacts program.
I have no wireless headset yet. I have a 2 GB SD card and it's plenty.

I experience the same problem. I dont know whether to attribute it to sprint or the 755p, but cingular (att's) three way service was far superior. I miss the link feature.

Default HOW to use 3 way on Treo

There is a way to use three way on the Treo 755p without hanging up on the original call. While on the original call press the green send button once or twice. A screen will appear asking if you want to switch to flash mode. If you select yes, at this point the phone can be used like a landline. You can press the green send button to get a dial tone to make another call. If you want to disconnect the call with that party simply push the green send button again to hang up on that caller and return to your original conversation with the other party.

I've seen this several times, happend on my girlfriend's 755 and seen it on several 755s that have come in. We aren't swapping these phones for that issue, a hard reset has solved the problem on all of the Treos I have personally worked on.

I wish this was true, but completely false. Sounds like a generic answer.
For this problem to be fix we'll need a update.

Yea, except for the fact that I had the problem and it fixed it. If you do your hard reset then put all your same crap back on there you are almost certainly re-syncing the problem. My phone and my girlfriends phone were fixed by a mere hard reset - so nice try. If every single 755 was having the issue, you'd be right. Instead, I'm right.
