755p & bookmarking

Thinking of buying a 755p soon and want to know if anyone knows if the unit can bookmark. I listen to books on tape a lot (really helps when working around the property) and it would be great if I could use the unit to listen but need bookmarking function so when you have one huge file you can stop/ pause and be able to restart at the same place. Anyone know?

I don't think that Sprint offers a direct program for audio books, but I'm sure that it could be done by loading the audio file onto your memory card then playing it with pTunes which does come free and pre-loaded on the device. Although that would depend on how the audio book is coded... as long as it's mp3 mp4 wav or something along those lines it should be entirely do-able.

Thanks for the reply. From our library system you can download but it is in WMA format -is that supported?

As far as I know it is, but I will verify later to be sure - I'll get back to you on that.

I use audible to listen to my audio books on my Treo and the bookmark function works well.

Every time I've attempted to download a wma, it hasn't taken it in the sync process.
