| Well...if all else fails...read the manual. lol
I went to the owners manual and it did say you can use your sync cable and Windows Media player to sync. Well, that doesnt work. (Thanks Bill G) Go figure! So, I used Real Player and it worked GREAT!!! Syncing my Pink Floyd as I type.
Just FYI for anyone else who doesnt want to look like a great big goober! |

| You can also use a card reader or a software application such as Card Reader and a USB cable. Ben

| If you have to use the hotsync to get the files onto your phone, then I suggest that you open up the Quick Install app that should be sitting on your desktop; you will see it is divided into upper (memory) and lower (external card). After this is open, then open up the folder on your PC that holds your .mp3's; have both folders open at the same time on the PC. Now just drag and drop the music files you want over to the LOWER part of the Quick Install and they will be put onto your card when you do your next hotsync. The faster way is what Ben suggested, get a card reader and put your SD card into it and connect to the computer by USB. An explorer window will open up that shows everything on your card - this time drag and drop the music files onto this card window. Then just put the card back into your phone and your done.

| So there are a couple ways to do it... I do it this way... It's no faster or slower than plugging in a card reader...Not to mention they end up on the card where I want it... Quote:

In my experience, is it always faster to transfer files using a card reader.

| If in fact it's any faster, it's not going to be by much... phone is already plugged in for the sync... It places it right in the card. So, it's not any easier nor would there be much more time involved. I've never had to tell it where it goes, it knows to put it on the card... I don't have a card reader that would fit the micro sd card anyhow, so that would be one more cord in my bag. Quote:
