    Question 755p exchange activesync trouble

Help! I have Exhchange 2003. I set up my versamail with exchange activesync. When I test it, it says, "Success:accessed Server, version supplied 1.0,2.0,2.1.2,5." I thought I was Scott free. Unfortunately, however it will not sync. The error I get is "AirSamState Machine.C 1913 3". Any suggestions. I've tried everythin.g:embarassed:

I believe the 1913 errors are related to name resolution. Is your DNS set up correctly?

I just had the same problem. Airsamstatemachine.c 1913 4670, says it can not find server. It has been working for about a month and this just happened on Monday. Is this something I can fix or do I need to call IT department? You said something about DNS, what is that and how do I check it? You can tell that I am new to all of this.

Never mind, found out it something on our IT side. They changed some settings and are now just letting us know.

I was having this same issue, and I am the IT Manager. After trying many things, I discovered I needed to add another virtual directory by exporting the Exchange one after disabling SSL and FBA. The link with step by step to do this process I found here:
    http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?kbid=817379
This totally solved my problem but I have to have SSL turned off in VersaMail. Anyway, it now syncs just fine, it transferred contacts, schedule, and emails. However, here is what I found odd. It is only downloading the last 4 days worth of emails or so. Hardly any. Anyone have any idea why I can't get it to sync my whole inbox? Anyone else run into this? If this is all it will do, then it is better than nothing, however I'd love to have more of my emails than that. Also, I'm using Mergic VPN to setup my VPN to do this activesync. I'm on a trial that is going to expire. Is there any free VPN palm software out there before I end up purchasing Mergic?
    Thanks!

I am trying to sync with our exchange server and can actually get my emails to download - but about 30-45 seconds after the sync is complete I get a syncing messages error AirSAMSMPing.c 1451 1200
Anyone know how to fix this? The Sprint online chat tried to tell me that the content is not compatible with the server - but our IT says that we have several people with the same phone and they work.

I went down to the Sprint store yesterday and they exchanged my phone. Still didn't help. They told me that if the new phone didn't fix the problem then I would have to get my IT to talk with their IT to fix the problem. Some kind of error with the network communications.:frown:

I did figure out it is only with the autosync. If I turn off autosync and manually sync - I don't get the errors.
