755p - gradual ringer - how do you disable?

I've noticed since I've had my 755p, that when I get a phone call, the ringer starts soft, but then rings to the volume level I've set.

On my 650, it rang at the volume level I set right away without gradually increasing in volume.

Is there a setting or a way to set the 755p to just ring without the gradual increase in volume?

What sounds are you using? I am using Treo; Treo Techno; & Loud Aria and don't have the problem.

Thanks for the hint with the listing of your ringtones. Found the problem. It was with one of my ringtones - a custom one that I made. I switched over to using the Treo ringtone and it works.

Not sure why this particular ringtone works without the gradual increase on my 650, but I guess the 755p treats it a bit different.
