755p, Mac Leopard, missing sync, no events!
i've been a blackberry/windows user for years, within a 3 week period, i decided to buy a macbook and a palm. bah.
i initially had entourage but decided it sucks, so i'd simply use ical and apple mail. when i had entourage i installed the palm software, but used isync to sync and everything worked fine. once i stopped uing entourage, and deleted the conduits, isync wouldn't sync anything.
after lots of reading i decided to try and get things moving with The Missing Sync. it now looks like my tasks and address book are syncing, but my calendar does not. kind of important, i think. my photos don't sync anymore, either, but im way more concerned with the events
i'd be very gratefu for any assistance anyone can give. i've searched this forum, but i keep getting hits from 2005-06!
anyway, here is the log from missing sync:

I decided to stop pouting and start researching so I read that long ass Missing Sync Log and I found the following:
"This conduit has been unregistered, and the next time you synchronize you will be prompted to synchronize. If that does not happen, try restarting and synchronize again."
I then went to the Mark/Space site and I found these directions on the Mark/Space knowledgebase and they did not work - at first. I then did a hard reset of my treo, reinstalled Missing Sync and it looks like i'm good to go!
One thing that is odd: i backed up my address book, then wiped out my palm. When I reinstalled Missing Sync i *did not* do a backup but rather proceeded with a new sync. I now have some duplicate address book entries that i have to clean up, but i can live with it.
Anyway, here are the directions:
What you need to do is just sync again, but with just the Mark/Space Events conduit. If the problem persists then you should reset the Sync History of Sync Services and try again. The error comes because the conduit attempted to sync with the Sync Services but timed out because Sync Services was too busy. To reset the Sync History:
1. Go to iCal and click the 'File' menu and choose 'Back up iCal'.
2. Do the same process for Address Book click the 'File' menu and choose 'Export - Address Book Archive'.
3. Do the same for Mark/Space Notebook, in Mark/Space Notebook click on the 'File' menu and choose 'Back up database.'
4. Launch the iSync application, found in the /Applications/ folder. (iSync is not used for the sync, but iSync is where Apple handles Sync Services Preferences.)
5. Click on the iSync menu
6. Choose Preferences
7. Click the 'Reset Sync History' button. Read and follow the onscreen directions.
8. When the reset process has begun the button will go grey, it is complete when the button becomes active again, but there is no need to re-click it.
9. Restart the Mac
10. Go to: /Users/[username]/Documents/Palm/Users/[username]/Conduit Settings/ Find the file: Notes_MarkSpace Palm Notes.db and delete it. If you've not synced you may not have this file yet. If you sync with Entourage the word Entourage will appear in the file name, likewise with Yojimbo, if you sync with Yojimbo the word will appear in the file name.
Now go to Missing Sync, double click on the Mark/Space Events conduit and make sure it is set correctly, and do the same thing for Mark/Space Contacts, Mark/Space Tasks and Mark/Space Notes.
Now try the sync again.
hope this helps someone!
