Default 755p v. 700p

Knowing that the 755p would be coming out on Verizon later this month I figured I'd take advantage of the 30 day test drive' and check out the 700p (making the jump from my three year old 650). I've been wanting to move up from the 650 for a while and figured this was a good time.

Just on day one with the 700p, but love it so far. I'm in a EvDO area so the speed is fantastic - nice to have the better camera, and I haven't notice any 'memory swapping' hicups when I'm doing tasks while listening to mp3.

Looking at the 700p/755p spec's they seem identical wte of the miniSD v. SD card, the 'no antenna' look, slightly thinner and slightly smaller battery life on the 755p.

I was wondering if anyone was using the 755p who had used the 700p in the past and would like to share their experiences?

I see far less 755's that come in for service than 700p's. They have similar hardware but make no mistake in knowing that the 755 does have a newer hardware set. I don't know why but my 755 seems very stable in comparision to the 700p's I've seen - but they've only been out for 6 months so it's impossible to get a long-term bead on it. Overall, I'd take the upgrade for the design alone. You'll never loose a memory card with the 755 because of the Mini-SD tucked-in style and you'll be lucky to hold onto a memory card with the 700p for longer than 3 months.

Thanks for the reply ... I know my SD card popped out of my 650 a couple of times when I dropped it ... luckily I always checked to make sure it was still in there.
