Default 755p won't power on..

I just got my 755p on Friday and after putting it on to charge and checking on it after about an hour I found it to be really hot so I unplugged it and took the battery out which was pretty hot as well so it can cool, after a while I put it back in and it came on and so I left it on my desk, upon checking it again it was powered off.. and I have not been able to power it on since.

Will it restart with the charger connected? Since the device is new, have you considered a trip down to the service dept and asked them to check the device, especially the battery.

Pretty much tried everything short of throwing it against a brick wall.. Have to wait until tomorrow to go to the sprint store.

Last night, mine died. Tried to reboot, kept switching between the "Palm" screen and "Access Powered" screen. Right before, I got a message saying "Available free memory is low" or something.

Frozen, wont boot up. Went to sprint store (fun, as always) was told to call sprint since I got it from them. Been on hold 32 minutes....Sprint service good, but sprint telephone help mean and hateful...usually.

you would think that carriers would hire people to do customer service wotk that would be willing to try to help people calm them down,listen and be knowledgeable enough to troubleshoot and solve problem instead or hiring people who seem not to give twit about serving the customer and retaining their business. What a novel concept? What was I thinking?
