| Address Book Groups Does anyone know if there is any hope of the Treo Address Book supporting Groups? I'd like to send SMS messages to a group of people, but I haven't found an easy way to do it, short ofeach time I need to send a message, keying every person in individually. |

| You can group your address book into family business etc... For a group text I believe someone said some third party software can do that. You might do a search here or in the 650 forum.
When You text you do know that you can start to enter a name instead of the number and your address book comes up so you can select them..

| Okay, the standard Messaging program on the 755 offers the option to create a Template. What you do is open a New text screen, then for this first time enter in all the phone numbers that you will want in your group. when you are done, click on Options - Save as Template. Now anytime in the future that you want to group text all of these numbers, just go into Messaging and at the top pulldown box that typically shows INBOX, pull that down and click on Template (it should have a little "1" there for your template that you created) your template will appear and then just click USE at the bottom and it inserts all of those group phone numbers into a new text screen. Type your message and click send.
Done!

I'm looking for an easy way to send a text to everyone on my hockey team. I'd like to have an entry in my address book that is "My Team" and within it, have a list of people that may already be in my address book. Then I'd like to be able to send an SMS to "My Team". |

When you open up Contacts, pull down the Category box in the upper right corner and click on Edit, then click on New and name it, then save. It will show as a category now.
However, you cannot use this category in the Messaging program, just create a template like I detailed, you just need to do it once and then you can use it over and over again.
