 |  Any update on Google Maps 2.0 and Treo 755P? I recently purchased this Palm Treo 755P on Sunday and was horrible disappointed to discover that I couldn't use the new Google Maps 2.0 with the Locator option based off cell tower locations. After reading around, I seem to have found some hope that Palm responded saying they will support Google Maps 2.0 soon for their newer Phones by providing a patch. Does anyone know anything further on this? I certainly hope that this Treo 755P counts as a new enough phone to get fixed. I really want to use this feature! I know I could've on the Palm Treo with Windows Mobile but I preferred the Palm OS and hated that ugly antenna. :P |

| Hi: Maybe I missed it, but who is your carrier? This is freeware that may help you out if you have a GSM Treo. It will not work with CDMA phones. I cannot vouch for the software as I have never used it. Do your homework before downloading. I hope it helps... SteveTaz

| Well, reading a bit further, it would appear that the 700p is only CDMA, but I will keep looking a bit. Sorry.... SteveTaz
