Default AOL Instant Messenger Issues

I have AOL Instant Messenger on my Treo 755. It has always worked, but now it's not. My Yahoo messenger works, but when I try to log on to my AOL IM I get a message that says "[Error 502] Request could not be completed." Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

That happens from time to time with my text messages, Give it a soft reset, see what happens. If that doesn't work, call sprint, they can reset things back to where they should be. They are going to have you do a soft reset while on the phone with them, that's why I suggest that first.

Hard reset and re-install the IM program.

To play the music, you have to download it from the puter to the card. What I do is I right click on the song I want to bring over, it will say move to and you put palm device, it's going to put it in a box, that will send it to the card once you sync again... Then you play it in ptunes

Off topic as well... Thanks, I've got a bunch, as you can see; there were quite a few bugs that day....

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the IM program that is pre-loaded on the Treo 755p from Sprint (well, the direct download link is there by default just click it and it downloads/installs the application) is the way to go for MSN, Yahoo, and AIM messaging. Sometimes it's glitchy to start the first time and you might have to do a hard reset and a re-install for the magic 2nd touch - but it really does work well and it won't cause system glitches in the phone.

I played with the Sprint IM app for a short period of time and went back to Mundu IM V4.

Default QuickIM

I switched to the 755p recently and searched far and wide for an MSN Messenger application that would not charge me and SMS fee. It's features are outstanding. This program, QuickIM, works just like the desktop version of MSN Messenger.

It was easy to setup on my Treo 755 from Verizon. I like that QuickIM wil run in the background while I am doing other things. I recommend it! Its the first program on my list.

You can download a free trial from www.QuickIM.com
