bluetooth interfers with calls
the bluetooth screen on my 755p will intermittantly interfere with a call -- i have all standard treo software with the addition of voice dial -- tech support has had me do a hard reset and a factory reboot -- problem is still there -- any ideas?

The Treo series is designed to handle phone calls "in the background" - meaning you can have your screen on other applications, doing bunches of different things. How is it causing problems, or rather, a description of the problem.

here is a description of the problem -- during a call, the bluetooth screen (on/off, device name, etc.) will occasionally come on. i usually don't notice it until i attempt to terminate the call and see that the phone screen is not visible. i have to press "done" on the bluetooth screen or press the phone button to get back to the phone screen to terminate the call -- i have not been able to identify any circumstances or actions that are correlated with this bluetooth event, but it does seem to happen with about 25% or more of my calls

Wow, I have never had the Bluetooth screen display on its own - are you manually turning the Bluetooth radio on? If that is the case, the Treo will once in a while turn on and display the last application or phone screen. Terminating the call should be as easy as pressing the RED phone problem and of course, the Treo is designed to terminate the call when the other end terminates on their side.
To find out the problem, a backup of the device, hard reset and determine if it happens with nothing installed on the device. If nothing happens, a software configuration problem exists. If it happens, then short of returning the unit for another one...
Again, this is not displayed on my Treo 700p or 650.

I haven't experienced the problem on my 755, the most likely culprit would be bumping the Bluetooth icon. Is your Bluetooth on your phone disabled or do you leave it enabled even when not using a Bluetooth headset or car kit? It might sound silly, but try locking the touchscreen when on a call (Prefs -> Keyguard -> Disable touchscreen when: -> check 'On a call') to eliminate that as a possibility.
