???? When pairing if the new device does not have a fixed key (most do not) you select a number usually 4 numbers when prompted and enter the same number when prompted from your phone.

I thought most Bluetooth devices were preset to 0000?

Okay, before we play 20 questions, can you give us a bit of info? Is this a device you have paired with before? Has it been set up as a trusted device before? Is it in the pairing mode and is the phone and the device set as visible, etc. What are you trying to pair with the 755?

Here is the Palm guide that should be able to get you up and running if you have a new device never paired with your 755 yet. The biggest problem people usually have is that one or the other is not set to discoverable or the pairing mode.

Is there any more to the story as to why you asked the question you did?

Please let us know what happens and if you have success or if there is a particular problem you are having....

The other default that may be preset is 1234, but most use 0000 (zeros, not the letter O).

If this has been paired before and a random number assigned you may have to reset your Treo, but you better have a current backup before going that far.

Please do the basics in that link I gave. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on in the Treo and it is set to visible and the device is in pairing mode before tapping "Add Device".

You can delete the trusted device and set it up again..
