Camera or Multimedia Can someone help me watch movies on the Treo755p?

Can anyone tell whats the best and easiest way to watch movies on the Treo 755p? I tried this program called TCPMP, but it failed to recognize my movie. My movie was a .avi format. Do I need to convert it to something else? If so how would I do that? or do I just need a different program? Thanks.

When you installed TCPMP, did you also install the Mpeg 4 and MP-3 plug in? . . Also a good article (at least I think so) on how to rip movies on your Treo for free . . .

I don't think so...here's why, when I open TCPMP I get an error message on my phone that reads "Error: Player:Video codec (MPEG-4 Video) not supported by the player!" I select ok the a second error message reads "Error: Player: Audio codec (MP3) not supported by the player!"...yup sonds like I'm missing those plug-ins right? I had the program beamed over to my phone from my friend's Treo700p. Do you think these plug-ins did not beam over as well? How would I go about adding the plug-ins? and how can I get them?

I had a 3 minute clip that was in MP4 format and tried playing it in Kinoma; the audio was fine but the video for even a 3 minute video was choppy. Any advice on fixing this? Would using TCPMP make the videos play clearer?

Sure. Basically, your clip needs more computational power than your Treo is able to muster. Once you fix this, you'll be able to watch even feature-length content on your Treo with no problem (battery life notwithstanding, of course).

Kinoma Producer has presets that make this easy, and I can help you come up with settings that work in whatever you're using to encode your video. Can you describe your video/audio encoding settings?
