 |  The default contacts application does not give you the option of first name. Last name or company is it. However, all is not lost! There are applications that allow you to search by user specified criteria. TakePhone and 2Day are examples. 2Day integrates with TakePhone and TakePhone integrates with the address book and wow, it is a great combination. The link: www.shsh.com. Ben

| It does, but it is exceedingly convoluted. The TakePhone solution with its ability to look at user specified fields is a cleaner solution. Ben

| I've always just used the first name of people... when putting the names in. In the event I know someone with the same first name... I use either the first letter of the last name along with the name... It's always worked well for me. |
