 |  Disappearing photos from Photo Viewer?? I have been enjoying my new 755p the last few days and have everything installed and running. I have taken a hand full of photos and also hotsynced some photos from my PC onto the palm. I store them all on the miniSD card in a new album I created. My problem is, the photos seem to be randomly disappearing from the album - they are just gone. Some stay but several have just disappeared. I then re-sync the missing ones and after a while I check the Photo Viewer, and again some of them are gone (always different ones) I am stumped, could perhaps the miniSD be bad? The photos are the only things that are disappearing, no apps. I am wondering if I should try and find a 3rd party photo app and use that as the default?

| Just found this post on another forum from a couple of months ago: "I have a KINGSTON 2 GB. NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. Not only does it randomly need to be reinserted. About 50% of the time it losses all the photos I have taken. It's weird, because it doesn't lose other data, just the pictures out of the DCIM folder. Also, it will error out when the camera is writing the file to the card. I don't know whats going on." Now this phone came loaded with a Transcend 2GB card; but just like that poster, my card only loses photos from the DCIM folder. I am going to buy a SanDisk 2GB card and try that. Hopefully that will work.

| I'm having a nice long conversation with myself here, but this stuff might helpsomeone else with the same problem so.............. I got home and stuck the mini SD card in my card reader and opened it on my laptop. I deleted the entire DCIM folder from the card and put it back into the phone. I then took one photo, which created a new DCIM folder on the card. So far so good, I have opened the Photo Viewer now 10 times and the photo has not disappeared, so perhaps it was just the DCIM folder that was corrupt. I still bought a 2GB SanDisk card on amazon for $15. I like that brand.
