Default Doc2go & hotsync won't see mini SD card

My Treo 755P is able to view my 4GB mini SD card without a problem. However, when I hotsync, I am unable to transfer files from media to and from the desktop. I get the error, "The External Volume is absent, so can't install files." in my hotsync log. In addition, Documents To Go v. 10.02 tells me, "Card Not Present" under status, even though it is. Any suggestions?

I am wondering if you moved your card contents to your PC and reformatted your card, then moved everything back, if hotsync would recognize the card contents? Sometimes it is a good idea when you buy a new card, to format it first, either on your PC or in the phone; then start using it.

Mine does that also and I haven't moved or reformatted anything. How do you get DocToGo to recognize the card?

    Hi:

I think what dollface is suggesting is to move the contents to your PC to preserve and to then format the card and move the data back to the card after formatting. This might enable the data and card to be seen.

I would suggest trying the format on the phone to see if that will enable the Treo DocsToGo program to find it.

Try it to see if it helps and let us know....
