Default Does a predictive text app exist on the Treo 755p?

If so, how do I access it. I'm so tired of typing out the complete words! I need to be as lazy as possible and it's buggin' me bad. I even downloaded a program called TextPlus, and it's not working. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Any ideas? Please help.

    Thanks,
    Denny

    Default Text Completion

I think it's called "(something) completion," which is when the computer fills in the rest of the word before you are done typing it? What program are you using? I think maybe some programs/software on your phone have text completion and others don't. That's just my guess. Hopefully someone will be able to answer your question.

Favorite apps: SplashShopper, VersaMail (works just fine if you know to use Sprint's SMTP server), Sharklinks.
Apps that never worked for me: Graffiti Anywhere, Metro.
    I can't stand the built-in contacts program.
I have no wireless headset yet. I have a 2 GB SD card and it's plenty.

Thanks for the input. I'm trying to get it to work on my text messages, Mundu IM, and the Sprint Mobile Email application. Just looked at all the settings on those programs and in the "Prefs" section of the Treo, and didn't see anything that may relate to this issue.

    Thanks again,
    Denny

    Default Built-In Words

I think they have built-in words somewhere. Maybe look for that. Like a make-your-own dictionary. Maybe?

The file name is HsExtensions2.0_eng (or whatever language suffix) is the file.

A file like this always running is not as convenient as it may seem. There are a couple of dictionaries that watch as you type and they really slow the device down.

If I have something that has to be perfect, I do it in Documents To Go's Word application, spell check it there, then copy it to an email.

In the menu for the text message, there should be something there that allows you to use either the text finishing or not...Look in the distructions, there should be something there.
