| Dst Wtf Imho Has anybody run into the Palm solution for DST 2008 early arrival? Does the 2007 patch work for the 755P Verizon in 2008? |

| Hi:
According to what I read, the 755 should have the solution built in already:
Palm Centro (AT&T and Sprint) and Treo 755p (Sprint and Verizon Wireless) customers, all the latest DST rules are already built into your device, so you are set as far as your device is concerned.
Another part is to make sure you have the Windows fix installed on your PC (assuming you are running Windows):
You should keep in mind that your desktop must also have Microsoft's DST update in order for all your info to be in sync.
Do you have the Windows update installed? If yes and your Palm is not updating properly, you may have to check to see if DST is selected. Do you have a World Clock program on the 755 (I am using a 650)?

SteveTaz | Yes, Steve, there is a World Clock on the 755 but it does not have the option of checking a box for DST, so it must be built-in. But you are correct that the PC that you sync with must have been upgraded for the DST patch last year and that will automatically keep all the dates and times synced properly. However, there was a DST patch for the 650 a year or two ago that needed to be installed as an update. I think if you took that you will be fine now every year.

| Hi dollface:
To get to the DST option, it is a bit convoluted:
Open the World Clock > At the upper left, tap the time zone you are in > Scroll to the bottom of the list to "Edit List" and select > Find your time zone and highlight it > select Edit
You should now see a check-box "This location observes Daylight Savings Time"

SteveTaz | Holy cow, I found it! Could they have hidden it any better? Mine was already set to observe DST. Thanks Steve
