Hi folks...hope ya'll can help me.

Just bought a 755p. I have a question concerning email capabilities using versamail (or another program..) Is there way to include email templates on the palm OS? I will be receiving a TON of emails each day..and most my responses back will be the same depending on the type of email. I'm in sales by the way.

basically....if one type of sales lead comes in via email...they get a certain email in return....if another type comes in..they get another email...etc etc. I do this on my desktop using email templates so I don't have to keep typing the same thing over and over again.

Hopefully...this makes sense...

I believe I kind of do the same thing you are asking. Type up what you want in the email and save it as a draft. Then you can copy paste in your replies. I do this from outlook but I believe versamail has a draft folder or you can create one.....maybe not I don't have the phone with me.

Yep, ChatterEmail, the Palm OS email client of choice, supports drafts. I use 'em all the time. It also supports multiple accounts and bunches of options that the competition does not.

I hear what you are saying guys. Copy and pasting from a draft is one thing and is one solution...but that's not really working with templates. What I mean is....when you are replying to an email...you select which template you want to use WHILE replying.... maybe with a one click of a button. With the draft..you have to exit out of the email...open another, copy, close, open email and paste.

I see what you mean. ChatterEmail supports multiple SMTP profiles and you have the ability to reply to an email using any one of the multiple SMTP profiles and you can have duplicate SMTP profiles.
