    I lost my 650 in the lake last weekend so i bought a 755p and im trying to put my contacts from palm desktop onto my phone but i cant figure out how to do it. can you guys help. thanks.

    Did your 755 not come with an installation disc? Make sure your "ID" is the EXACT same as the 650 was, or the desktop software will not recognize you.

    yes i installed everything, it recognizes it i just dont know how to put the contacts onto my 755

    I'm going from memory, but there is a setting that determines whether desktop overrules handheld, or you can set it where handheld overrules desktop. Is it wiping the contacts out of your 755 when you sync? The Palm website also has a very extensive FAQ section that should cover it as well.

    i got it, was messin around this morning and got all my contacts onto my phone.

    right you just go into the Hotsync button on desktop and click Custom - there is where you would check for desktop to overwrite device; then just do a hotsync and it will put everything back on.
