External sound problems - Treo Forums

Yesturday I used the no sound switch while at school, when I left I flipped the switch back and now my phone has no external sound at all. Ringtones, music etc. It just vibrates. I checked the prefs and I have it set to vibate only when sound is off. Any ideas before I head over to Sprint?

The switch does go bad once in a while. Did you try a soft reset?

Thanks yes I did try that and it is still not working. Ugggg its not even 65 days old. Sprint says they might replace it.

The switch is either cracked off the main board (most likely from a short drop and a sudden stop - hint hint) or the little plastic piece that actually guides the switch on the main board is broken (can happen accidently). If it's the plastic, it's easily fixed. If it's cracked on the mainboard, meet Mr. Reconditioned Treo.
