System Tools or Repair First Treo...755 with sprint

Hey guys
Just bought my very first treo and its the 755 with sprint. I originally had the samsung ace but decided if im paying 200 for a phone I mind as well get one that does more. After playing with it for a while, I was completely overwhelmed by how much it actually does but Im getting use to it. Now there's just a few things that were bothering me and was wondering if anyone could help me out??

First of all, when I got it I thought it was one of those windows based pdas. Soon found out I was wrong. (I know should of did my research) But I seen that 750 has it, and I was wondering if anyone knew if sprint was gonna carry it?? If not is there anyway to put windows onto the 755? Cuz I really hate the whole interface and the way it looks, but its suttin I'll live with if needed.Or even a website to change the skin to something more decent? Or how to put a photo as the wallpaper for the main screen where all the apps are?

Also, I seem to be having a problem retrieving my mail from my yahoo account through this Versamail. It wont retrieve my mail saying my password/username is incorrect when I know it is. Does anyone know what's up with that??

My last question may sound kind of dumb but is there a way to shut the whole device off all together?? Or is it that when I turn the phone off, the battery life is being saved that way??

Anywho any response would be greatly appreciated.

I'll try to answer some of your questions...

No, you can't put Windows OS on a 755p (it has been said that Palm OS is better anyway)

There are "Launchers" that you can get that will change the look (wallpaper, etc.) of your phone do a search in the software section.

No way (other then removing the battery which is a soft reset) to completely power the phone/PDA off. Unless you are a heavy/power user you should get 2 or more days off the battery before needing charged.

Nope, the inards are a bit different. As mentioned below, 3rd party launchers do a good job of customizing. My devices use ZLauncher and each is as individual as the person using it.

Do you have paid access with Yahoo???

Short of pulling the battery, you cannot turn them off. The normal "off" mode is the sleep mode. As a note, in between key punches, the Palm OS is in the "off" mode, though it does go on/off so quickly you cannot see it.

Power Hero and a few of the profile applications go a long way toward battery conservation.

You will have to check that out with Yahoo! on your own. At one time you had to have paid access. Ben
