Do I need a diffrent card reader / writer, for my minisd 4gb card to plug in the usb port and upload or download to, I have windows vista 32 bit os ,any help will be great go can I get one on ebay ? and what would the keywords be

Outta my experience there, I have not used a 4gb mini card. My guess would be the correct driver may not be installed and if it is an older card reader, then its ROM and related driver may not be set to handle large capacity cards and that would mean the purchase of a newer card reader.
A work around that I use as a matter of convenience would be to use a Bluetooth option - if your Vista computer has Bluetooth support installed, moving files around via Bluetooth is an easy alternative. Freeware applications on the Treo such as FileZ or a shareware application such as CardReader or BlueFiles (there are others - these are the 2 I use) work very well. I dislike cables and though a bit slower, once you get the hang of using Bluetooth applications, they are far more convenient.

hi folks, great, now heres the deal im new to this you say re:purchase of a newer card reader (but what would the name be called meaning the card reader/writer as my current one that i have is called SD/MMC and i have been useing it with my standard sd 4 gb memory card, that i use for my camcorder, the mini sd 4gb card fits into the SD/MMC ADAPTER with the minisc card adapter, but in my computer it doesnt reconise it. I just dont know what to search on the net for , for my minisd card (a card reader/writer adapter i need but dont know what to type in the search engine) and that will be compatiable with vista 32 bit os) i can only view whats on my mini card through my 755p phone but not on my computer..and no i dont sync i dont like that feature..thanks folks

It is a driver problem then. Search the world our set a few dollars out for one that does work or Bluetooth it.
